We would like to inform you that from 5 October 2020, a new application form will be required for performing voluntary conformity assessment of a product (in order to obtain a certificate of compliance recognised by the United Arab Emirates). Moreover, it will be possible to submit documentation for the processes (i.e. attachments to the application) in an electronic version. This option should be indicated in the application. At the same time, we would like to inform you that applications submitted by 2 October 2020 will be processed under the prior rules (re-submission of the application is not required).

We currently offer voluntary certification of conformity for the following products:

- Systems for marking traffic routes

- Fixed Fire Extinguishing Systems for non-construction applications (urban transport, rail transport, etc.)

- Portable fire extinguishing aerosols

- Dispensers / Neutralisation units

We would like to kindly inform you that from 15 June 2020 it will be possible to submit an application for ”national assessment and verification of constancy of performance based on the National Technical Assessment”, which will initiate the process of obtaining both a National Technical Assessment and the national certificate of constancy of performance. At the same time, we would like to point out that the application does not apply to processes where the reference document is a Polish Standard of the product.

We would like to kindly inform you that Scientific and Research Centre for Fire Protection – National Research Institute (CNBOP-PIB) has issued a new edition of “CNBOP-PIB requirements for ensuring measurement traceability” (ed. 4). The document will be effective from 27 July 2020 and is already available on the Institute’s website.

We kindly inform that in order to obtain a certificate of admittance for emergency lighting luminaires in the processes carried out in accordance with point 13.2 of the appendix to the Regulations of the Minister of the Interior and Administration of 20 June 2007 on a listing of products used to assure public safety or protection of health and life and property, as well as rules for issuance of a certificate of admittance of those products for use (Journal of Laws – Dz. U. No. 143 item 1002 with amended) Scientific and Research Centre for Fire Protection - National Research Institute allows, as an option, the possibility of using alternative (in relation to the batteries) sources of electricity in the form of capacitors, that can be use in  the self-contained emergency luminaires.
