The Department’s scope of activity covers:

tests of firefighting and rescue service vehicles,
tests of rescue and evacuation equipment,
tests of firefighting pumps,
tests of firefighting suction and delivery hoses,
tests of firefighting water-foam fittings,
tests of fixed extinguishing systems: foam, gaseous and water mist,
tests of interior hydrants, including valves and hydrant branches,
experts opinions, advisory services, consultations on operation and efficiency of firefighting equipment,
research and development on firefighting equipment,
opinions on Polish Standard drafts,
implementation of new test methods complying with European Standards as required for the scope as above.
