The Department carries out evaluations and gives opinions on issues in the field of:

• correctness of execution of technical projects and installation in the field of fire alarm systems, fire automation, voice alarm systems
• computer simulations of acoustic properties of rooms,
• measuring understanding of speech, time of echo (reverberation), levels of sound (sound volumes), correctness of choice and placing detectors in an object on the basis of executed tests in the object of installation
• giving an opinion on standards and participation in fire protection standardization processes.
